By now I assume you already heard about AdSense ; this program provides contextual advertising solutions to bloggers (and site owners). It delivers text-based Google AdWords ads that are relevant to site content pages.

Update - you can even show Video ads as Google added this option lately. I’m not sure if it’s for U.S. users only, but it’s a great option to look out for in the near future.

You can start for free and get extra income fast. While you won’t make a fortune overnight, you’ll definitely get to learn more about AdSense, and how to make money online with your blog.

If you’re a pro blogger, I suggest you use WordPress and sell your own stuff on the blog besides promoting affiliate products and services.
